Elves are a race foreign to Trepheon, though there are a good number of them settled within the continent. They are native to the continent of Ludwag, and sailed to Trepheon in an early age, back when the Great Dormian Empire was still active. Now, they are seen across the continent of Trepheon living in a variety of civilizations, as they are a welcomed race in most areas. They take up to two morphs in-game.

Anatomy

An Elf's form is very comparable to a human's, with their most identifiable feature being their long and pointed ears. In addition to this signature trait, their average height stands at just under the six foot range. While they are taller than humans, it's also more difficult for them to gain muscle or fat (while also being difficult for them to lose it). The eyes of an elf are also fundamentally different from most of the other intelligent species in Azura, with them being very cat-like; they are a bit more slanted with somewhat slimmer, more oval-shaped pupils and possessing larger irises. Using these extraordinary eyes, an Elf would have an easier time training their eyes to identify details in the distance easier. Their eyes colors typically consist of bright hues such as green, blue or even a bright auburn color. An Elf's hair color consists of 'Earthly' hues, those of which being greens, blues or shades of brown. Despite all of this, another notable feature is with how their skulls are shaped, with elves having usually been described as having slimmer, longer faces with defined cheekbones.

Psychology

Elves are considered a prideful race, holding their intelligence above others. Despite sometimes being considered egotistical, not all elves are quick to shun other species. Knowledge being greatly treasured by the overall race, it wouldn’t be entirely uncommon to discover several great philomaths inside their society.

History

Elves immigrated to Trepheon in search of knowledge, many years before the fall of Dormia. Word traveled to their native home, Ludwag’s largest island, of the many new species and secrets that dwell there. The majority of their race remained in Ludwag, only sending ships of scholars and philomaths to discover the secrets and knowledge these new cultures held.

While most of these travelers returned home, a few stayed behind, fascinated by the continent's rich flora and people. These Elves integrated into human societies, partaking in both their religious and cultural activities. Elves now native to Trepheon - even after many centuries of isolation - still carry a few similar traditions similar to their Ludwagian roots.

Skills

Elves are intellectuals, many carrying knowledge that ranges over countless subjects. When it comes to combat, they have heightened abilities in the fields of mancy and archery.
